Hello there!
My name is Gillesse (Jill-less) and I'm a wildlife and pet portrait artist based out of the west coast of Canada. I work with a variety of mediums to create my art, which include: watercolor, pen & ink, gouache, colored pencil, pastel, and water based oil paint.
I am inspired by the natural beauty that surrounds me. Growing up on the west coast of Canada is a luxury that I do not take for granted. Exploring the many trails around me puts my mind at ease and constantly teaches me to appreciate the small things.
I am a quiet soul with a kind heart. I am a mother, a wife, a daughter and a sister. I enjoy collecting books as much as I love reading them. I love to experiment with photography but I am no photographer. I value alone time but I crave deep and meaningful connections. I adore astrology and firmly believe that the universe is so much more than what we perceive it to be.
